Skidmore McGraw Microscopy Imaging Center - SMMIC

的 Skidmore McGraw Microscopy Imaging Center (SMMIC) was established in 2002 at Skidmore 大学.  中芯国际 is a core technology facility comprised of five modern laboratories in the Dana Science Complex that support light microscopy, confocal laser scanning microscopy (CLSM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and a variety of ancillary instruments used for the preparation of specimens.  的 mission of SMMIC is to promote and facilitate microscopy-based research at the college, enhance high technology training in teaching and provide user-friendly outreach to the surrounding communities.  的 equipment of 中芯国际 was acquired via funding from the National Science Foundation Major 研究 Instrumentation program (NSF-MRI), the Lintilhac Foundation of Burlington, Vermont, 的 George I. Alden Trust of Massachusetts, several other private foundations and the college.

To apply to the Young Scholars Cell Biology Institute, we request that each student fills out an application form at http://forms.办公室.com/r/DRuKuspcvc and submits one letter of recommendation about why the student should be accepted into the program from a science teacher, an advisor, or a guidance counselor directly to Professor Domozych at ddomoz@koog-consulting.com. Students are also requested to fill out a photo consent form upon acceptance. 的 deadline for application is at 8:00 am on May 6th, 2024.
